Abstract


With the end of 2008 in sight, it is indeed a great pleasure that the SAJCN’s 21st birthday has been a year of success and progress as communicated by the Editor’s notes in previous SAJCN issues.
One of the advantages of the new on-line system is the timeous publication of the highlights of the recently held Nutrition Congress, which, by all accounts, was a resounding success.
